Join us for a Splitboard Steep Skills Expedition course

This course will prepare you for expeditionary trips with a focus on steep terrain splitboarding. If you are an advanced rider looking for the next level splitboarding, planning trips and camping techniques, this is your course.

Saturday March 10th & Sunday March 11th

Course includes:

Friday Evening: Plan and packing checklist via (wasatchsplitters.com)

Day 1: Navigation and travel, Avalanche Awareness, Approach Tour/Group Dynamics, PM Tour and Dinner

Day 2: Day Tour, Tour preparation, Day Tour (Emerald Lake to South Peak to Summit or Emerald Lake to Giant Staircase RT and out Primrose Cirque) Lunch and then Descent.

Prerequisites:
Advanced Riding Skills. Each must have completed a approx. a dozen day tours via Splitboard. Each attendee must be able to negotiate black diamond or double black diamond terrain via Splitboard and be ready for steeper (40 degree) terrain. Each attendee must be prepared for an over night at 10,500’
